About

Made Out Of Mouth (MOOM) has been an on-again, off-again project of mine. The goal always being to write something about every film or video I watch. More than a mere record of the movies I watch, MOOM is a sounding board for me to openly comment on the work I witness. Often, I find that in time my opinions shift or evolve. Occasionally, they stay the same.

In no way is this a review site and I feel no need to encapsulate the work I watch. When possible, I try to link to more informative web pages that detail information like plot, cast, etc. Nor, is this site really a critical site. Rather it is a barometer; an instant reading of how a film or video immediately affects me.

For those who need to know, the blog’s name comes from The New Kids. The end credits list author Harry Crews as contributing dialog to the script. I like to imagine he proffered up this little nugget.
